Week 9: How Sweet It Is! August 14-18
You scream, I scream, we all scream, for ice cream! We love to paint sweet things, and we need to get inspired! Live the dream with us as we return to San Francisco. We start at the Ghirardelli Square chocolate factory, seeing the old machinery at work. We do some serious research involving sketching and sharing a few sundaes. We continue to Normans Ice Cream for some exotic choices. Ube, Mango or Macapuno anyone? A visit to That’s Sugar and we have a visual cornucopia of candy. All this sugar gives us so much energy we walk to Aquatic Park for our lunch break, play footsie tag with the water and make some drip castles in the sand. We leave with just enough time to visit Kara’s Cupcakes and maybe have one for the road. We will spend the rest of our week creating fine Art and Crafts in a sweet swirl of memories. Join us on Friday for our most delectable art show!
