Week 2: Arty Animals! June 22 – 26

Do you adore animals? We do! Join us on our field trip as we travel to the Oakland Zoo to visit all their residents. Take the gondola up to the California Trail wolf exhibit, and pause to take in their graceful prowess. Visit the sky-high giraffes and gawk as they loom overhead. Stop by the baboons and chimps, and take a moment to sketch these captivating creatures, capturing their expressions and funny antics.

Find the animal you would like to paint while on our field trip, or find your inspiration further from home. We will assist you in the studio to make sure you create a painting that celebrates every fantastic bit of of these creatures, from scales to feathers to fur and more.
