Week 6: Best of SF! July 24 - 28
The swirling mist of morning in San Francisco envelops you as the fog horn bellows its greeting through the chilly air. Venture to the shore where you will choose rocks to stack and balance, creating your own Andrew Goldsworthy sculptures. Stroll along the water and get a hot chocolate at the Warming Hut perusing the vistas that you will soon put to canvas. Plein air painting at Crissy Field is a world-class experience. We’ll set up your easel and provide all the art supplies you need. You’ll have an unforgettable day painting the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz Island, Marin Headlands, or the Palace of Fine Arts as viewed from this epic location. We’ll all spend the day gathering information and experience for the large canvases and crafts we will do back in the studio the rest of the week.
- Daily Camp Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 3pm
- Tuesday Field Trip: Crissy Field, San Francisco
